Liz is an Account Director in the Professional Services practice at Bliss Integrated Communication. Her industry expertise includes investment and mortgage banking, consumer retail and the business of health care. She has 13 years of experience in thought leadership strategy and content development, nurturing collaborative business relationships for clients, collateral design, social media for business development, and newsletter production. Liz specializes in pulling out and telling the stories in clients’ everyday work and in aligning marketing efforts to the business development continuum.
Liz is a former journalist who covered government and economic news in Charlottesville, Va., and wrote for The Associated Press in Columbus, Ohio. She spent six years developing, monitoring and executing a national public relations platform for a boutique financial services firm and has also written for higher education and a mental health network.
Liz holds degrees in journalism and Spanish from Washington and Lee University. She is originally from Syracuse, N.Y., and recently spent a year in Greece learning the language, exploring a culture in economic turmoil, and working on an archaeological dig with her husband. She is based in Northern California.
