Liz is a Vice President whose expertise in the “business of health” crosses Bliss’s Professional Services and its Health Care communications practices. Her work in health care debt financing, medical device manufacturing, population health data services, and health care strategy and operations consulting complements the broader life sciences knowledge at Bliss. Together, the business of health team guides clients in defining and articulating their value to the new stakeholders in the evolving value-based care paradigm.
Over her 15+ years in public relations and marketing communications, Liz has covered city government for the Charlottesville Daily Progress, written for the Associated Press, and built a national thought leadership presence while in-house at a financial services firm specializing in health care and nonprofits.
Her favorite part about corporate storytelling is helping others understand the answers to questions they may not have thought to ask. She specializes in pulling out and telling the stories in clients’ everyday work and in aligning marketing efforts to the business development continuum.
Liz holds degrees in journalism and Spanish from Washington and Lee University. She is originally from Syracuse, N.Y. and is based in Northern California.
