Vice President – Professional Services

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Bliss Integrated Communication has an immediate opening for a VP to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to help lead integrated marketing activities for a major account, drive strategic planning and content creation initiatives, develop both traditional and social media relations strategies, and mentor and train a dedicated account team.

The role is focused on B2B communications for a major client in the Professional Services sector and requires 8-10 years of integrated marketing and/or public relations experience, including writing (byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), analyzing research and survey results, content creation (infographics, video, etc.), media relations and digital strategy. Experience working with large Professional Services (accounting, consulting, private equity, legal, banking, etc.) clients is required. Industry expertise is also a plus (healthcare, non-profit, technology and life sciences, retail and consumer products, etc.)

Ideal candidates will be strong writers, creative problem-solvers, excellent multi-taskers and enjoy empowering others. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a senior strategist for a multi-disciplinary program that cuts across many industries and service sectors
  • Help manage client profitability
  • Act as a senior lead day-to-day on client programs, working closely with both a management team and a larger team of 10-12 professionals
  • Work collaboratively and productively with teams; help the team to continually evolve as professionals
  • Develop creative ways to engage with clients’ key audiences through digital and social media strategies
  • Strategize and oversee the creation of content marketing materials, including infographics, eBooks and videos
  • Leverage excellent writing/editing skills in the development of strategic plans, media analysis, announcements and thought leadership collateral
  • Design research initiatives, analyze findings and craft resulting narratives
  • Mentor and train account team members, helping them to leverage their strengths, identify growth opportunities and develop integrated marketing skills
  • Support organic new business development initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of integrated marketing and/or PR experience (at least some of which was with a Professional Services firm)
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills
  • Nimble organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly, prioritizing multiple assignments
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships, along with a service-oriented outlook
  • Collaborative leader who knows how to activate others to achieve their own potential

Account Executive/Senior Account Executive – Financial Services

Bliss Integrated Communication has multiple immediate openings for Account Executives/Senior Account Executives to join its Financial Services team. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on several financial services accounts, supporting integrated marketing activities, assisting account drivers with strategic planning and content creation initiatives, helping to develop both traditional and social media relations strategies, and mentoring and training junior staff members. Candidates will also be expected to take ownership of and lead client projects from start to finish, managing all client correspondence with the account drivers’ oversight.

The roles are focused on both B2C and B2B communications for clients in the financial services sector and require 2-5 years of fundamental integrated marketing experience, including client service, writing (press releases, pitches, byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), research analysis, content creation, media relations, and digital and social media strategy.

Experience working with financial services clients is required; retail banking, investing, retirement, small business, wealth management, back-office financial technology or data management experience is a plus! Deep knowledge of the asset management industry (traditional and alternative; retail and institutional) is preferred for one of the available positions.

Bliss Integrated Communication has an immediate opening for an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive to join its largest Professional Services account. Candidates will have the opportunity to support integrated marketing activities for several different programs within the account, including strategic planning and content creation initiatives, helping to develop both traditional and social media relations strategy, and assisting in mentoring and training junior staff members. Candidates will also be expected to take ownership of and lead projects from start to finish, managing all client correspondence with the account driver’s oversight.

This is a B2B communications role and requires 2-5 years of fundamental integrated marketing experience, including client management, writing (press releases, pitches, byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), research analysis, content creation, media relations, and digital and social media strategy.

Experience working with professional services clients (law firms, consultancies, accounting firms)  is strongly preferred. Some experience in healthcare is favored.

Associate Account Executive

Bliss Integrated Communication is currently hiring for our entry-level Associate Account Executive position. Candidates must be eager to learn, collaborative and demonstrate interest in the financial services, professional services and healthcare industries. Excellent writing skills are required, and proficiency in digital and social content marketing is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidates will be smart, determined, energetic and have a desire to learn about and work on strategic communication campaigns for financial services, professional services and/or healthcare brands
  • Sharp writing skills required, and proficiency in digital and social media is a big plus
  • Experience with PR/marketing campaigns or initiatives in any capacity is also a plus

Internship Program

Bliss Integrated Communication offers an internship program designed to provide current or recently-graduated college students with the opportunity to get hands-on PR and marketing experience in a fast-paced, interactive environment.

At Bliss, we treat our interns as full-fledged members of our team working across our Professional Services, Financial Services and Healthcare Practice Groups. Over the course of the semester, interns have the opportunity to touch our full range of services, including media relations, content creation, digital/social media marketing, and research and data analysis.

In addition, interns can take advantage of the numerous professional development and training opportunities we offer throughout the year, including seminars on social media, media relations, writing for PR and marketing, the latest in research and analytics tools, and more.

Bliss offers a modest stipend for interns, and current college students may be eligible to obtain course credit for their participation the program. Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) is ideal, but we can and do make exceptions for highly-qualified part-time candidates.
