VP Professional Services

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Bliss Integrated Communication has an immediate opening for a VP to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to lead integrated marketing activities for a major account, drive in strategic planning and content creation initiatives, develop both traditional and social media relations strategies, and mentor and train a dedicated account team.

The role is focused on B2B communications for a major client in the Professional Services sector and requires 8-10 years of integrated marketing and/or public relations experience including writing (byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), analyzing research and survey results, content creation (infographics, video, etc.), media relations, and digital strategy. Experience working with large Professional Services (accounting, consulting, private equity, legal, banking etc.) clients is required. Industry expertise is also a plus (healthcare, non-profit, technology and life sciences, retail and consumer products etc.)

Ideal candidates will be strong writers, creative problem-solvers, excellent multi-taskers, and enjoy empowering others. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the lead and senior strategist for a multi-disciplinary program that cuts across many industries and service sectors
  • Monitor and manage client profitability
  • Act as the senior lead day-to-day on overall client programs
  • Work collaboratively and productively with teams; help the team to continually evolve as professionals
  • Develop creative ways to engage with clients’ key audiences through digital and social media strategies
  • Oversee the creation of content marketing materials, including infographics, eBooks and videos
  • Leverage excellent writing/editing skills in the development of strategic plans, media analysis, announcements and thought leadership collateral
  • Design research initiatives, analyze findings and craft resulting narratives
  • Strategize and overseeing the creation of content marketing materials
  • Mentor and train account team members, helping them to leverage their strengths, identify growth opportunities and develop integrated marketing skills

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of integration marketing and/or PR experience (at least some of which was with a major Professional Services firm, ideally with a “Big Four” company)
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills
  • Nimble organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly, prioritizing multiple assignments
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships, along with a service-oriented outlook
  • Collaborative leader who knows how to activate others to achieve their own potential

VP/Account Director Financial Services

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Bliss Integrated Communication has an immediate opening for a VP/Account Director to join our Financial Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to support integrated marketing activities for key accounts, participate in strategic planning and content creation initiatives, help develop both traditional and social media relations strategies, and mentor and train junior staff members.

The role is focused on B2C and B2B communications for clients in the Financial Services sector and requires 7-10 years of integrated marketing and public relations experience including writing (byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), analyzing research and survey results, content creation (infographics, video, etc.), media relations, and digital strategy. Experience working with Financial Services (insurance, banking, advisory and/or asset management etc.) clients is required.

Ideal candidates will be strong writers, creative problem-solvers, excellent multi-taskers, and enjoy working collaboratively with others. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the day-to-day lead on key clients programs
  • Working collaboratively and productively with teams; helping to keep the team stay organized and accountable for key client deliverables
  • Developing media pitches, announcements, plans and thought leadership collateral
  • Developing creative ways to engage with clients’ key audiences
  • Strategizing and overseeing the creation of content marketing materials

Experience in working with Professional Services (accounting, consulting, recruiting, legal, etc.) clients is required.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

Bliss Integrated Communication has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join its Financial Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on several financial services accounts’ integrated marketing activities, supporting the account driver with strategic planning and content creation initiatives, helping develop both traditional and social media relations strategy and assisting in mentoring and training junior staff members.

The role is focused on both B2C and B2B communications for clients in the financial services sector and requires 3-5 years of fundamental integrated marketing experience including writing (press releases, pitches, byline articles, speeches, whitepapers, etc.), analyzing research and survey results, content creation, media relations, and digital and social media strategy. Experience in working with financial services clients is required; real estate, banking, investing, retirement, or Peer to Peer communications experience is a plus!

Ideal candidates will be strong writers, creative problem-solvers, excellent multi-taskers, and enjoy working collaboratively with others. Responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively and productively with teams; helping to keep the team organized and accountable for key client deliverables
  • Leveraging excellent writing skills in the development of media pitches, announcements, plans, and thought leadership collateral

Associate Account Executive

Candidates must be eager to learn and be able to collaborate within teams that have strong interests in the financial, professional services and healthcare industries. Excellent writing skills are required and proficiency in digital and social content marketing is a plus.

Internship Program

Bliss offers an internship program designed to provide current or recently-graduated college students with the opportunity to get hands-on PR and marketing experience in a fast-paced, interactive environment.

At Bliss, we treat our interns as full-fledged members of our team working across our Professional Services, Financial Services and Healthcare Practice Groups. Interns have the opportunity to learn about and participate in our full range of services, including:

  • Media relations
  • Content creation
  • Digital and social media marketing
  • Research and data analysis

In addition, interns can take advantage of the numerous professional development and training opportunities we offer throughout the year, including seminars on social media, media relations, writing for PR and marketing, the latest in research and analytics tools, and more.

Bliss offers a modest stipend for interns, and current college students may be eligible to obtain course credit for their participation the program.
