Cortney Stapleton

Cortney partners with companies in financial and professional services to help realize communication goals by connecting integrated strategies to their bottom line. A member of the Bliss Integrated Management Team, she develops and implements overall messaging, thought leadership and digital and traditional media strategy both locally and globally. Cortney loves a good story, and has created strategic programs for clients in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.  Cortney has worked with Bliss for over a decade, is a member of the management team and leads the firm’s New York headquarters and Professional Services Practice. She is also one of the firm’s Worldcom representatives, and ran the organization’s global B2B group for the last several years.

Prior to her career in PR, Cortney worked in the non-profit sector and the state government of Vermont. She also worked with the governments of New Hampshire and New Zealand.

She graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a MS in international relations and earned a BA in political science and environmental studies with a concentration in sociology from St. Michael’s College.
